CERTIFICATE IN MAKEUP- BEGINNER COURSE

The beginner makeup course is excellent for the makeup enthusiast wanting to learn makeup techniques. From hairdressers who own their own business right through to beauty therapists or the makeup enthusiast wanting to add makeup to their existing list of services, or the just the beginner wanting to learn makeup.
Makeup HQ offers a variety of professional makeup courses that is unlike any other makeup courses or makeup schools in Melbourne.
Our courses are all about teaching our students real techniques, meaning we give you the real-life skills to perform a range of makeup techniques on real people, getting you industry-ready. As well as learning all about workplace health and safety and hygiene practices.
We have various study options available and our courses are delivered over eight weeks.

Our class options include, evening classes, daytime classes and weekend classes available as well as other flexible study options.

STUDENT KITS:
As part of any course, materials, tools and equipment must be used in order to take part in our courses.
​
DUE to COVID-19 all students must have their own working makeup kit for the duration of the course.
​
Why do students need a kit? Due to Makeup HQ strict workplace health and safety standard for our trainers, students and clients and to avoid cross infection, all students will need a kit to work out from.
Students can also opt in purchasing Sara's favourite kits- The Standard Starter Kit for $450 or a Pro Kit for $990 which includes all her favourite starter products to help you start working in the industry.
MODELS:
Depending on the course you decide to enrol in, students will need to have models to work on in the duration of the course. Models will be required from Day 1 of the course.
Assessments will be conducted on your final day of class by one of Makeup HQ certified makeup trainers who hold there current (Certificate IV Training & Assessment) You will be assessed on the capability technical skill as well as observation.

TRAINING METHOD & REQUIREMENTS
Training Method we use in the studio is Face-to-face delivery,
Minimum Age: 16 Years old
Study Pre-Requisites: None, this is suitable for all make-up lovers!

CERTIFICATION
On completion, all participants will receive an Industry Recognised Certificate in Makeup Artistry.
