Course Structure You will undertake the following components: Five (5) weekly, three-hour theory, demonstration, and supervised practical sessions Exclusive 25% discount on all professional products in-studio Full access to our recorded studio program for ongoing learning and revision Course Outline Master the principles of professional make-up artistry through the following modules: 1. Make-Up Health, Hygiene and Safety Learn industry-leading hygiene practices, including the essential dos, don'ts, tips, and tricks to ensure client safety and professional standards. 2. Colour Theory, Colour Correction, Skin Analysis & Skin Preparation Gain an in-depth understanding of colour theory, effective colour correction techniques, comprehensive skin analysis, and correct preparation for all skin types. 3. Creating the Perfect Base Perfect your base application every time by mastering undertones, formula selection, shade matching, and advanced concealing techniques. 4. Contouring Techniques with Light and Shade Learn to structure and sculpt the face by identifying face shapes and applying advanced contouring methods for a naturally harmonious result. 5. Beauty, Glamour, and Creative Eye Techniques Explore a variety of techniques to enhance and balance the eye area, from basic beauty looks to glamorous and creative styles. 6. Precision Skills for Liner, Lashes, and Lips Discover how to deliver flawless finishing touches with professional techniques for liner application, lash enhancement, and perfecting lips. Course Duration Each module is delivered weekly in a three-hour session led by our Senior Artists and Educators. Cancellation Policy
All products listed on Makeup HQ website are not inclusive of GST and are subject to change with out notice. Rates will be charged in accordance with advertised rates at the time of booking. No refunds for change of mind of cost of goods or services sold. Surcharge A surcharge of 20% will be incurred for all bookings made before 8am on a Sunday or prior to 7am Monday-Saturday. Any bookings made a day before or on a public holiday ie, Melbourne Cup, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Anzac Day, Easter Weekend will incur a surcharge. Cancellation/Refund Policy Cancellations for studio appointments need to be made at least 72 hours prior to the appointment. If you cancel your appointment within 72 hours of your appointment time the initial booking fee of 50% will be charged to Makeup HQ as the cancellation fee. 1. All deposits are non-refundable, if you the client, cancel your appointment outside the 72 hour timeframe your deposit will be kept as a service credit to use with us next time. Makeup HQ will not provide a refund after 24 hours of the booking being made and deposit taken. If the customer simply changes their mind about a product or service after the booking has been made and credit card/payment has been taken no refund will be given. 2. Cancelations less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, MakeupHQ we will retain the total booking fee paid or full amount (by way of liquidated damages and loss) or the full amount payable 3. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment for any reason at any time without notice to you, we will provide you with another artist for your appointment. 4. If you the client, cancel your appointment due to change of mind after the booking has been made, any deposits made will be kept due to loss of clients turned away for the same date and time. This includes weddings & bridal services. 5. If you the client can not attend or no show your appointment made on the day of the booking, the booking fee made to MakeupHQ will be retained deposit paid/full amount (by way of liquidated damages and loss) or the full amount payable . 6. Bridal- Once the booking has been made & the deposit is taken, any cancellation or changes to the size of the bridal party will incur additional charges. If the booking is downsized or cancelled after it has been confirmed, you will be charged the original price quoted to cover the loss of other parties turned away for the same date. Bridal deposits will not be refund.
