THE AIRBUSH COURSE

This hands-on course is developed to introduce the artist to the equipment used to apply airbrush makeup flawlessly and to give them a complete understanding of Temptu & Elementwo various formulas and how to apply them. Each artist will be given the basic outline of application order and methods to achieve touch-free, high definition results.

Over the 4 days, you will be guided on how to get the most out of your airbrush system and what products are best for each artist.

We will take a in-depth look at product choice, the airbrush gun, compressor as well as technicalities faced with having a airbrush machine.

This 4 day airbrush makeup course is intensive as well as interactive where participants will learn the fundamentals to the art to airbrushing.

Participants will learn how to create makeup looks with a real focus on bridal, red carpet, photography and how to create a flawless makeup look.

After the successful completion of this 4 day course, you will be able to design, apply and remove airbrush makeup confidently.

PRE-REQUISITE:

All participants enrolled in the 4 day course must have an airbrush system to attend this course as well as a makeup certificate or basic artistry skills and currently working in the industry.

TUITION FEE: $1900

We have various study options available and our courses are delivered over 1 night a week for 8 weeks or 4 full days.

Our class options include, daytime & evening classes available as well as other flexible study options.

Due to the limited number of spots available we will enrol each student on a first come first serve basis and max capacity is 6 students per class. .

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Covid-19 and the current cases in Melbourne increasing we have decided to cap our classes at 6 students per course.

INFORMATION ON OUR COURSES

PREREQUISITE:

Students must be a minumum of 16 years of age or over at the starting date of the course.

STUDENT KITS:

As part of any course, materials, tools and equipment must be used in order to take part in our courses.

DUE to COVID-19 all students must have their own working makeup kit for the duration of the course.

Why do students need a kit? Due to the current pandemic Makeup HQ has a strict workplace health and safety standard for our trainers, students and clients. Students will need a airbrush machine in order to partake in the airbrushing course. Temptu, Dinair, Sparmax or Elementwo. Please contact us for further information on airbrushing products and equipment.

MODELS:

Depending on the course you decide to enrol in, students will need to have models to work on in the duration of the course. Models will be required from Day 1 of the course.

Assessments will be conducted on your final day of class by one of Makeup HQ certified makeup trainers who hold there current (Certificate IV Training & Assessment) You will be assessed on the capability technical skill as well as observation.

Cost: $479

Students will receive a discount of up to 30% when purchasing the kit directly through MakeupHQ. Students are encouraged to buy the elements or may choose to use another brand but will need to check this with trainer upon enrolling into the course.
